as mentioned in Nokia lumia is joining the University of Technology Sydney (UTS)' Rapido – a new rapid prototyping unit – with the communication giant collaborating on developing IoT-based business applications using high-speed, ultra-low latency technologies such as 5G. Nokia will also participate on the UTS Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology advisory board. Nokia and UTS have worked together for more than 15 years and UTS is a key member of Nokia's Australian graduate program. Nokia will provide IP routing, optical, fixed and 4G and 5G mobile network components, and applications and analytics platforms for project work and training. There are more than 200 researchers at the University's Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.

Nokia lumia is set to join the University of Technology Sydney in a new technology development unit specifically set up to develop IoT-based business applications on high-speed technologies such as 5G. The partnership with UTS: Rapido will see Nokia work on engineering projects with the aim of ensuring future networks are equipped to deal with challenges faced by service providers and enterprises. "This association will allow us to contribute our expertise in areas such as 5G, IoT and data analytics, through UTS: Rapido, to help Nokia's customers unlock the potential of emerging digital capabilities," she said. Nokia and UTS have worked together for more than 15 years.
